*6 months CONTRACT Burlington, MA* *Phone+Skype* Acxiom is building a technology platform (Audience Interconnect®) to bring targeted advertising to television and video. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professionals to be part of our product delivery team – currently located in Burlington, MA – to deliver an innovative, highly scalable, open-source based product. The Data Engineer is an individual contributor who will be part of the team building the Audience Interconnect® technology platform. Specifically, this individual will work on the development and support of the database platform layer. This entails a) developing data extraction, data transformation and data load routines on a Big Data environment and b) interfacing and providing relevant and appropriate data to the Services layer. The Senior Data Engineer should be able to balance competing priorities with attention to detail; should be a creative problem solver; should be naturally curious and driven to excellence; should be hungry to learn about the rapidly evolving TV and video advertising space. What you will do: - Collaborate with product managers and architects to create the solution roadmap, - requirements, and design. - Design and develop schemas and data acquisition, transformations, and data integration for large scale media consumption and advertising analytics. - Develop software and utilize commercial and open source software to interface big data and relational solutions. - Design and implement solutions for metadata, data quality, privacy management. - Support and consult with analytics and development staff on data presentation and use.
