*Kindly reply to **sara.wil...@itbtalent.com* (Contract to Hire EAD GC or CITIZEN) Title: Pega Architect Location: Littleton, CO 80129 Contract length: 6 Months Overview: As the Pega Developer you'll be responsible for the development, testing, and implementation of Pega System based BPM solutions. Additional development of .NET, Java and SQL Server based applications utilizing standard development procedures and techniques may be required to support additional business requirements. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a high passion for delivering rapid technology solutions directly to the business and doing so utilizing rapid application development tools such as Pega Systems. Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain Pega component solutions in a Pega Systems-based solution environment. Work closely with Pega Business Architects, IT Business Analysts and IT Architects utilizing Directly Capture Objectives (DCO) methodology to define the requirements and baseline solution for business workflow applications. Provide project estimates to Scrum Masters / Project Managers regarding the development effort for Pega projects you are working on. Collaborate with the Support and DBA teams on support, backup/recovery operations and disaster recovery testing. Provide recommendations on Pega solutions and/or best practices in the governance, design and architecture of solutions as requested. Required Skills: -Hands on development in C#, Java, or other Object Oriented language. -Hands on development within the Pega Platform. -Understanding of configuration, change management, and source control. -Able to articulate solutions to team members and upper management. -Able to produce technical documentation. -Able to work on a team or independently in a fast-paced dynamic environment. -Willing to write detailed documentation and adhere to standards/change mgmt. policies. -Able to work large project teams with other team members located onsite and offsite. -Problem solving skills, with the ability to seek out and find alternate solutions.
