Location MAPLEWOOD MN Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm ***Requires expert level .NET experience*** Plans, designs, develops, codes and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products. Requirements: 5 to 8 years of PC-based (NOT server side) programming experience 2 to 3 years professional experience developing and debugging Visual C# for Windows Forms applications Experience developing for Windows XP through Windows 7 Familiarity with XML Able to create concise and accurate technical comments and documentation describing algorithms used, data structures created, etc. Ideal Candidate will also have: Understanding of media playback issues (codecs, DirectShow, Quicktime, Flash) Exposure to database access (SQL Server, MySQL) Java development experience would be beneficial Some exposure to program communications via HTTP, XML-RPC, WCF Awareness of interprocess communication approaches and techniques Desired Traits: Eager to learn Innovative Multitasker This position requires some specialized equipment and close collaboration within the development team, so the candidate will need to work on-site with the team. Some telecommute/off-site work could be possible for candidates who have proven to be productive contributors to the team over time. Responsibilities Revises and refines systems as required. Participates in the devising of project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, documentation, testing and ongoing support of business systems. Develops and maintains operational and system level documentation.
