"Adhere to release/project schedules and milestones. "Play an active role in team and company wide architecture discussions. "Assimilate and interpret performance test results to both technical team and senior management “Developing single user and multi-user performance test software suites. "Develop/refining performance requirements for existing and future client products and establishing metrics to quantify and measure system performance results. "Provide reliable estimates for tasks and activities Job Requirements: "Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical field required, MBA preferred. "Knowledge & Experience -4+ years automated and performance testing experience -Experience using Mercury Load Runner, Quick Test Pro, and WinRunner. -Experience using Microsoft Performance Monitor -3-5 year’s previous experience developing and/or testing solutions with an established language (C/C++, JAVA, VB, EJB, Unix Shell scripting, Terminal Emulator, etc.) -Experience with testing web based and client server applications -2-3 years experience developing scripts based on backend processing of middleware applications. Responsibility will include the development of scripts without record and playback functionality. -3-4 years experience with Windows/Oracle SQL -Must be tremendously self-motivated and possess exceptional planning and time management skills. -Experience with Mercury Quality Center. -Excellent skills in web architecture, application integration and system monitoring -Ability to recognize and respond to system conditions. To understand warning messages and potential error situations. -Ability to communicate effectively with system developers, System Administrators and system users -Ability to regularly make PowerPoint presentations to Sr. Management (as well as other levels of staff) on performance testing results. -Ability to prioritize responsibilities and follow up with assigned tasks -Familiarity with generally accepted testing methodologies -Interpersonal - Ability to maintain effective business relationships with staff, other colleagues and external contacts. -Computer Proficiency: Adept at using computer office management tools-word processing, electronic mail, scheduling, spreadsheet, presentation software, project management software, etc. as an integral part of day to day activity.
