Severe shortage of well trained professionals continues to plague the
software industry. Apart from the academic qualifications acquired, the
students also need to be well equipped in specific technical skills. This
will put them on a higher pedestal and enable them to enhance their
capabilities to face challenging situations during their professional
innings.
Towards, this end, I intend to make a dedicated contribution by sharing my
extensive experience and knowledge. I am a *Sybase professional* with about
20+ years’ experience. During this tenure, I have had the opportunity to
handle a wide spectrum of assignments covering a range of applications and
domains. Hence, I can effectively dig deep into my rich experience and
provide a ‘real life’ perspective to the knowledge sharing (training)
exercise.
I conduct training sessions covering the following areas:

Ø *Unix, Shell Scripting*
Ø *Perl Scripting*
Ø *UML*
Ø *Ruby and Ruby On Rails*
*The mode of training can be either **in-person **or **on-line** depending
on the exigencies and constraints.*
The focus is on skill acquisition and enhancement. With clear emphasis on
‘hands-on’ practice, the course delivery is tailored to suit the current
industry demands. Hence, the student can gain good confidence level and
approach interviews and evaluations with firm conviction.
