*Role                       :*BODS Developer Position

*Location               :* Redmond, WA.

*Duration              :* Long Term

*Required Skills:*

·         Experience / certification on Business Objects Information
Platform Services 4.0

·         Experience using SAP ECC as both a source and a target

·         Experience using some more SAP-centric components of BODS (data
quality, data migration)

·         Experience using some more SAP-centric data formats (XML, iDocs)

·         Might need to look for a more senior candidate who also,
potentially, has some experience administering BODS

·         Experience with both IBM DB2 zOS and Oracle databases

·         Experience working with Redwood as a batch scheduling tool would
be an asset

*Additional things that we need:*

·         Good personality – very articulate and personable

·         Strong on troubleshooting and tuning the ETL jobs themselves
(just also need server side)

·         Good experience monitoring and alerting on ETL job failures

·         Good experience with data validation (source to target record
count, etc.)

*The environment, to provide the right context:*

·         Source 1 (30% of data) – SAP ECC 6: financial data (GL, AP, AR,
Bank, Asset), human resources data (payroll, benefits, OMPA, time),
indirect procurement data (POs, PCards, non-POs)

·         Source 2 (70% of data) – UVX (mainframe) with an IBM DB2 zOS ODS
(operational data store): sales (quotes, pricing, sales orders, invoices,
customers) and operations (purchases, forecasts, costing, inventory,
shipments, vendors, products)

·         ETL Tool – SAP Business Objects Information Platform Services 4.0
(also using data quality for cleansing, de-duplication)

·         Target 1 – SAP Business Warehouse (BW) Netweaver 7.01: into
staging tables

·         Target 2 – Microsoft SQL Server 2012: into staging tables
