*send me resume to rame...@systelinc.com <rame...@systelinc.com> * *Position: Mainframe Datacom DBA * *Location : San Antonio, TX* *Duration : Longterm * *Job Description: * * Background in Database Administration, monitoring and tuning of CA-Datacom/DB and associated products to support the TAPDB Databases on the Mainframe Platform. * Knowledge of z/OS and mainframes to include JCL, TSO/ISPF. * Support for the CA Datacom (including Data Query) database environment; Datacom Server; Datacom CICS Services * Build user requirement tables (URTs) to grant read/write access to database tables. * Perform database administration and Monitor database index and table growth * Monitor and analyze database environment in order to recommend and/or implement modifications to database structures to optimize performance. * Build and execute jobs to extend/reallocate the size of the indexes and tables. * Create scheduled jobs to load data from external sources and to reorganize/optimize database tables * Provide 24x7 on-call support for all Datacom Databases. * Performance tuning ,Capacity and planning reporting.
