Job Description Required: Ability to create dashboards in Splunk and Develop Splunk Ideal skills: Utilize HP Server Automation and CA Service Desk Manager to deliver a reliable and repeatable Splunk Universal Forwarder deployment and process visibility to the business. Develop, deploy and audit the Splunk forwarder installation package on Windows and Unix servers in lab, development, and production environments across the enterprise using HP Server Automation. Insure deployment process visibility to the business by using CA Service Desk Manager for change and incident management. Use the Splunk development environment to create dashboards that visualize key knowledge indicators via charts with drill downs to detailed information. Take requests from concept to tangible results by reviewing the content available in Splunk and developing ad hoc, scheduled, and real-time searches to provide the statistics for visualizations of key performance indicators. Collaborate with co-workers across the company to help them use Splunk by sharing acquired knowledge. Demonstrate the use of Splunk to solve business problems via presentations at company-wide roundtable events. Develop and test Splunk Universal Forwarder installation methods for deployment to all Windows servers in the enterprise. Use network and log monitoring tools to provide operational views of the state of network. Develop searches and input forms to provide interactive, scheduled, real-time reports and dashboards to visualize the status of network connected resources with Splunk.
