*Java Engineer with UI & Angular experience* *Location: Reston, VA (Local’s only)* *Duration: 1 year (Contract to Hire)* *Face to Face is Must* *Required skills:* Java, Spring, SQL and would prefer UI exp with Angular. *Skills required -* Working knowledge in all phases of software lifecycle; Consultative mindset applied to solution definition/delivery and problem solving; Excellent analytical and GUI development skills; Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline oriented work environment; Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously; Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently; Ability to lead a development team. *Skills preferred -* Proficiency in GUI development skills; Experience with Java and J2EE development; Familiarity with Eclipse IDE, iBATIS, Spring Framework, JSF, and Oracle DB are all desirable. *Experience required* - Four years of related experience and/or training in Analysis, Design and Development of Complex applications; 8+ years of overall IT experience with a minimum of 5 years of systems development lifecycle experience; Demonstrated experience using structured methodologies in software development practices -- e.g., design, coding standards, change/version control, release management, quality assurance (unit/string testing); Working knowledge and active participation in all phases of the software development lifecycle; Java: 4+ years, Spring: 2+ years, SQL: 4+ years *Experience preferred -* Four to eight years of related experience and/or training in Analysis, Design and Development of Complex applications; Proficiency with the following technologies: JSF, Facelets, XML, Ajax, iBatis, J2EE, Tomcat, Maven, Subversion and JIRA, Crystal Reports Developer, UNIX; Demonstrated ability to independently lead development initiatives and/or a small development team; Proficiency with healthcare programs (e.g., Medicaid, CHIP) and related functions (e.g., enrollment management, eligibility determination); Experience with standardized process/quality oriented frameworks and methodologies (e.g., ISO, CMMI, Six Sigma). *JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:* Performs functional analysis and design for small to moderate projects Performs technical analysis Develops code for modules of small to large scope Provides application support/troubleshoot a variety of problems Performs/supports user acceptance testing and unit testing Participates in or leads group discussions with peers or external groups Works with external vendors, when necessary Performs data modeling / database design work Writes concise and clear technical documents Performs other duties as may be assigned by management *Nagarjuna.
