Location : Atlanta , GA Duration :6 +Months contract Assist the Georgia Tech EDM team in identifying the best technical approach to capturing qualitative and quantitative data for metrics and measures; Provide hands on support in the design, development, testing, and roll out of the data models, and dashboards and reports for our metrics and measures associated with our strategic business plans; Assist in the identification of processes and tools for data modeling, data integration, database design, data maintenance, and data transformation for the Georgia Tech EDM projects; Document data models and processes needed for design, development, testing, and roll out of data models going forward; and Review other projects beyond the metrics and measures project to determine data model and data architecture needs- assist with documentation of current and future states and the roadmap and plans to move Georgia Tech to the future state. Skills/Qualifications: Ability to analyze existing ETL code in PL/SQL , shell script or Perl, and T-SQL to determine impacts and remediation. Ability to analyze existing database schema DDL/instance layout and determine impacts migrating to new target schema/instance environment. Database data security and design best practices. Experience with ETL processes using PL/SQL, T-SQL, and an ETL tool such as SSIS, Data Stage, or SAS Data Integration Studio Logical , conceptual, and physical dimensional modeling experience with a tool such as Toad Data Modeler, Erwin, or Enterprise Architect.
