*Location: Willimngton,DE.* The Data Modeler is responsible for developing conceptual & logical data models to meet the business requirements for OLTP and Data warehouse applications. Candidate will partner with the BSAs or the Developers on multiple agile sprint teams to gather and refine the business requirements. Candidate will perform data analysis and data profiling and analyze the existing data structures. Responsibilities: • Participate in reviewing business and data requirements. • Designs Conceptual and Logical Data Models for OLTP and Data warehouse applications. • Performs data analysis and data profiling to understand the data and underlying data structures. • Partners with the BSAs and Data Stewards to capture, enhance and publish the metadata for the data models. • Coordinates data models, data dictionaries, and other database documentation across multiple applications. • Works with DBA and Development teams to ensure design is properly communicated. • Assures integrity of data, software, and hardware; develops policies and procedures related to development and support of new and ongoing systems. Understand database query, index, and constraint for supporting OLTP system design with optimized interaction speed. • Interacts and works closely with multiple application development agile sprint teams. Basic Qualifications: - At least 3 years of experience in Data Modeling for OLTP applications.
