Job Title: Java Developer w/ Healthcare exp Location: Durham, NC Duration: 12 Months Rate : $35-40 Max NC FAST seeks 2 Junior Java Developers to assist with the development and implementation of NC FAST Project 3, Child Care and Energy Programs. These resources will have delivery responsibilities as part of NC FAST to work closely with senior technical consultants on case management system design and development. Duties include assisting with design requirements development, code development, Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions, functional design and life cycle management for the implementation of NC FAST. Responsibilities also include reporting status to the project manager and adhering to DHHS policies and procedures. Experience as a Java developer with experience in the full life cycle of requirements through functional design and testing. Required2Years Experience in problem identification and integration of technical skills to address and solve issues. Required2Years Experience in translating and communicating technical concepts to both technical personnel and non-IT business users. Required2Years Experience with creating and writing technical documens using MS Office products, Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Required2Years Ability to develop relationships/partnerships with customer by responding to needs and exhibiting an sense of urgency; independently identify options. Required2Years Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow complex and/or detailed technical procedures. Required2Years Experience using JavaScript. Required2Years Technical knowledge in the following areas of web application system analysis and programming: Java, J2EE, J2SE, XML, and XSL. Required2Years Technical knowledge of Eclipse, HTML, Cascading Style Sheets and Web Services Standards (SOAP and WSDL). Required2Years Experience with Oracle database platforms and tools.
