*Position: Data Analyst* *Location: Bloomington, IL* *Duration: 6 Months* Skype interviews conducted ASAP. *Data Analyst:* Seeking individual with strong mainframe development and coordination skills to support the Federated Data Warehouse (FDW) AIMS and Associate application environment. The Individual should be able to design, build and implement new development and should be skilled and analyzing and solving system and data problems; test and implement solutions as appropriate, and provide support for efficient daily operation of the data processing system. Individual should be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the FDW Associate and AIMS subject area. This person should be also able to demonstrate strong mainframe knowledge and have the ability to learn Linux and informatica. *Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to: * · Function as a core team member on AIMS/Associate development projects by updating existing or designing new system flows, developing code, performing unit, integration, regression and system testing as required, and implementing changes. · Function as an AIMS/Associate Service Team member, actively monitoring and maintaining the production environment · Provide problem analysis and resolution of system processing failures · Provide after-hours support (as needed) for system failures and outages · Create, test and debug systems components utilizing KSH, Perl, COBOL, SQL, DB2. · Create, test and debug Informatica mappings and workflows ? Create Unix scripts to run Informatica jobs · Create Autoflows for FDW job flows · Work with FDW application teams to coordinate the introduction of new processes and data loads into FDW · Work with the FDW data consumers to ensure that the correct data is being consumed by business partners · Maintain the data inventories for the FDW, including the load times, type of information stored etc. *Skill Requirements: * · Technical skills in Informatica, UNIX, DB2, SQL, Korn Shell Scripting, & Perl.. · Knowledge of COBOL, Host, Cognos, Business Objects, Testing tools. · Bachelor’s degree or higher from accredited university in computer science or related field · Minimum 5 years coding and testing experience in a production environment · Efficient in creating tasks, requests, Incidents and Change Records in HP Service Manager · Efficient in using Control-M *Soft Skill Requirements: * · Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and written. · Ability to coordinate work efforts and resources as needed. · Ability to work well independently and in a team environment. · Commitment to producing high quality of work. · Demonstrates initiative · Flexibility and adaptability to changes. · Good command of English language, both oral and written. · Good documentation skills · Good organization and planning skills. · Strong analytical and technical skills.
