Brainstorm broad concepts and ideas of various reporting designs, both individually and with the team, and translate those into a consumable, tangible objective. User & Design flows, experiences, and mockups with product specs that can be prototyped and refined in collaboration with the GRA Reporting team. Estimating timeframes for self in order to deliver projects on time and to budget. Contribute to high-level strategic decisions around report designs, Data visualization and creative direction. Create functional specifications at the level necessary to extend or customize existing proof of concept product Gather requirements using interviews, document analysis, workshops, business process descriptions, use business case scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis Develop project documentation, testing materials, training materials, requirements gathering including downstream and upstream interface requirements and adhering to a project management methodology is a must Knowledge and experience: Experienced in developing solutions using Qlikview software Intermediate level skill in integrating data using Qlikview Intermediate level skill in Qlikview scripting Good knowledge of installing and configuring/administering QlikView Desktop, QlikView Server, IIS Server and QlikView Publisher Experience in managing Access point security thru Active Directory and DMS Schedule QVW reloads on server and troubleshoot errors and failures Candidate should possess strong background in Data Analysis and have some data modeling experience Intermediate level skill in using SQL Experience in a Data Warehouse environment reporting on dimensions/hierarchies Experience in Star Schema/Snowflake modeling, FACT & Dimensions tables Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent plus 3 + years related work experience Strong organizational skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, and strong knowledge of property and casualty insurance preferred Strong knowledge of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) process is required Strong knowledge and understanding of databases and applications development concepts Good level of comfort using VB Scripts to write Macros in QlikView and/or Excel Excellent communication and presentation skills and strong knowledge of property and casualty insurance is preferred. Experience in the risk management field including management of key risks for a property & casualty insurance company is preferred Proficient in Word, Excel, Windowsbased applications and internet usage.
