Immediate Need For Build and Release Manager With Java/J2EE - Interview And Start ASAP!! Job Title: Build and Release Manager With Java/J2EE Location: Phoenix, AZ Duration: 3-6+ Months *Direct Client Need - Build and Release Manager With Java/J2EE - Phoenix, AZ - 3-6+ Months* Job Description: This requirement is for strong build and release manager (for J2EE applications). Strong experience in managing software environment with focus on Configuration Management (especially Change, Release and Build Management). Change Management: Experience in designing and implementing SCM standards, policies and procedure. Release Management: Experience in setting up processes & standards for repository baselines, branching, merging, backups/restore and troubleshooting. Build Management: Extensive knowledge on Build tools like MAVEN, Cruise Control, Jenkins etc. Will be required to support teams for migrating over to automated build environment. Server Administration: Proficiency in in Unix/Linux platforms in Administering, Support and Maintenance; Maintenance of user groups, setting up tool Infrastructure, Installation and Quality Assurance Scripting/ Programming Skills: Proficiency in creation of Unix Shell and PERL scripts; Must have a good understanding of Java application deployment on WebSphere and JBOSS Application servers Amex Experience and knowledge of Agile development practices would be an added advantage. JD: Experience in Java applications with hands on experience on build and release management. Experience in delivery of Java EE projects in onshore offshore mode across all life cycle stages requirements, design, development, testing and implementation. Hands on in various configuration management tools like SVN. Hands on various J2EE servers , IBM MQ, WAS, Maven and XML technologies, Java EE technologies, Quartz Scheduler. Extensive experience on Java build process. Amex experience would be added advantage.
