*Please send me the resumes on mud...@encore-c.com <mud...@encore-c.com>.* *Sr. SQL DBA (HealthCare experience is must)* *Location: Lisle, IL* *Duration: 6 Months* *GC and US Citizens Only* *Job Description:* The Sr. DBA will play a critical role in supporting our database environment, including the development and organization of the databases, assessment and implementation of new technologies, and providing information technology solutions with a long-term perspective on the relationship of database technology to the business opportunities. *Responsibilities:* - Physical design and implementation of databases. - Ensure that new database code meets company standards for readability, reliability, and performance - Working with developers and technical users find most resource-intensive queries on the server and suggest ways to improve performance. - Design indexes for existing applications, choosing when to add or remove indexes - When users complain about the performance of a particular query, help developers improve the performance of that query by tweaking it or modifying indexes - Design, implement, and maintain database security policies (create and maintain users and roles) aligned with compliances. - Deploy database change scripts provided by development operations team. - Prepare test datasets including redacting live data or using data generation tools. - Define and enforce organization wide standards and best practices. Update the standards and practices based on the feedback and review experience along with architecture team. - Perform regular health checking activities on the database to ensure integrity, stability and robustness of the database. Check fragmentation levels and statistics concurrency. Perform re-indexing and update statistics when required. - Assist in Data migration projects. - Document the company’s database environment. *Qualifications:* - 7+ experience with Database Administration for SQL Server and strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles and practices. - Expert level experience of indexes, index management, and statistics and developing maintenance plans. - Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems. - Demonstrated expertise in implementing operational automation using scripts. - Demonstrated experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory and proper disk configurations. - Working experience in planning and implementation of data migration. - Experience with data management and data processing techniques. - Experience with database source control tools (e.g. Jenkins, TFS, Anthill Pro, etc.). - Good communication and documentation skills. - Understanding of enterprise data integration platforms (SSIS, Talend, Pentaho, etc. ) *Highly Desired Qualifications:* - Deep understanding of Healthcare related EDI ANSI X12, HL7, etc. data formats. - NoSQL, Document Store, and/or Column Store database platforms like MongoDB, CouchDB, Cassandra, BigTable, HBase, etc. - Understanding of HIPAA compliance requirements. - Understanding of layered architecture, distributed systems and SOA. *Thanks & Regards* *Mohammed Valli Uddin* *Email: **mud...@encore-c.com* <lalit....@ngtechinc.com> *Phone: **815-349-9414* <224-365-5919> *Encore Consulting Survices. *www.encoreconsulting.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP or Oracle Financials" group.
