Must In person interview in Boston *Reply me on rachel.l...@itbtalent.com <rachel.l...@itbtalent.com>* The following job description is for the contract position of ETL Data Analyst for the Bureau of Health Care Safety & Quality (Office of Prescription Monitoring & Drug Control): Skills & Experience Familiarity with C # and dot.net programming languages would be helpful. Experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases and their native utilities (Query Analyzer, Analytical Workbench, etc.) Advanced SQL query-writing skills, Linux/Unix scripting, and automated job scheduling Experience in ETL development using standard tools like Informatica, SSIS, Data Migrator, etc. Knowledge of file and file transmission protocols (FTP, Web Services, XML, Flat File) Strong knowledge of networking protocols and connectivity as it relates to server-based connectivity. Knowledge of Applications Security including Authentication and Role Based Access Control. Knowledge and use of metadata including self-generated documentation. Experience in centralized IT data processing. Strong data modeling and database design experience. Experience in user application desktop/server support. Strong issue & problem management including root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills. Strong adherence to source control, version management, or Configuration management practices. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing (clearly and succinctly). Experienced in providing ongoing maintenance and support of IT systems and User communities Capable of working independently or as part of a large team. Experience in maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.
