*Please send resume to s...@cncconsulting.com <s...@cncconsulting.com> * Job title: EdFi Trainer/ETL Consultant Location: Columbia, SC Duration: 2 Months Direct Client Position Client: State of SC The SC Department of Education has an immediate need for both EdFi Training and Extract, Transform and Development (ETL) support related services. These skills and experience are necessary both to support the finalization of the SCDE SLDS grant project and to support the agency's statewide SLICE project activities which are being led by both the RDA and CIO offices. We are particularly looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) who has recent, knowledge and hands-on experience with designing, implementing and measuring effective EdFi / ETL Training programs and procedures for a state department of education organization and its member districts. This position is responsible for the following activities related to the agency's SLICE project and RDA efforts: Interview, engage with and assess technical competencies of SCDE staff whose responsibilities include ETL work with the EdFi / SLICE system. Develop training materials and activities to develop the required EdFi and ETL competencies SDE will need to continue its development and operation of the SLICE system. Deliver training sessions to SCDE staff over the course of four months to develop the foundational knowledge and skills required for SCDE to operate and refresh the EdFi system Collaborate with internal SCDE and District staff to review and provide updates / revisions to SLICE technical documentation and its related materials. Provide recommendations and assistance with both the development and implementation of the EdFi knowledge transfer project for SCDE. Assist SCDE staff with the creation of materials for the state-wide Data Quality initiative data training sessions. Collaborate on the development, revision and optimization of both SSRS packages and ETL scripts to automate and improve the EdFi data loading and refreshing processes.
