Title : Field Telecom Tech Location : Edison, NJ or White Plains, NY Duration : 4-6 Months Rate : $20/hr!! Must Haves 3-5 years as a telecom tech/ telecom experience TDM experience (T1, T3, OC3, OC12, and OC192) MetroE (Metro Ethernet) experience AC/DC Power Experience Excellent Personality, and ability and work well and present in front of customers *Role* In this role our client is looking for a Telecom Field Tech with 3-5 years experience. A large part of their job will be going out to the customersites (medium and large businesses) and gathering, labeling, and collecting disconnected equipment that have already been turned down. Secondly, they will be going out to new customers, within 3-5 days after customer has been turned up if there is any problems or issues. They will be working directly with the client on site to troubleshoot through any issues and problems with connections and services. Most of the problems will be the customer equipment. They will be going to customers that are within a 25-30 mile radius of the site.
