*Location : NYC, NY Duration : 6+ Months * *Interview Mode: Phone and Skype ( Local Preferred)* *Job Description:* Database is MYSQL and SQL Server, OLAP, BI plus Big Data exp will be perfect Hadoop. HIVE, Sqoop for reporting. I’m not looking for Hadoop developers. Focus on Database MYSQL and MS SQL Server with Business I ntelligence (SSIS and SSRS). *Responsibilities:* · Manipulating massive datasets quickly and efficiently in relational and HDFS data stores · Perform adhoc data requests for various business units · Advising product owners, business owners and Agile teams · Performing ETL (using SSIS) to extract data from MySQL and load into our warehouse · Writing stored procedures to aggregate statistics · Design and develop ETL code to lead and transform the source data from various formats (including HDFS) into a SQL database · Designing, implementing, and automating systems to improve our internal processes · Working with various Agile product teams across the organization to help them gain access to data *Requirements:* · Minimum 3-year experience with SQL, preferably in reporting (not just writing CRUD operations) · Strong SQL Server · Strong understanding of database relationships (3NF, star schemas etc.) · Comfortable with statistics and data visualization in Excel · Interest in analysis, reporting, and graphing · Because of the close work with several teams throughout the organization, strong communication skills are a must. · Experience working for an e-Commerce or Web company · Experience with Dashboard/BI tools · Experience with OLAP Cubes or dimensional modeling · Experience with Scala, Java and Kafka · Experience with Hadoop, Hive, and Sqoop -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP or Oracle Financials" group.
