*Position : Systems Administrator (Linux/Unix/Windows) * *Location : New Kensington, PA * *Duration : 12+ Months * *Interview: Phone Hire * *GC , USC Only* *Must be able to pass a background check.* * Job Description* · Looking for someone with good hands on exp with Linux/Unix as well as Windows server administration · Client is trying to eliminate 10 Unix/Linux servers. · The strategic direction of the company is to eliminate this technology and 10 servers does not create enough work for an entire FTE. · These servers are currently tied together with NIS and NFS. · They need to broken apart and shut down if possible. There is only data on these 10 servers. The goal would be to transfer the data to the business owners individual desktops. At the very least to consolidate down to only 1 or 2 servers. This project will be the focus until the end of the year. That is the deadline for the project. After project completion this person will be focused on Windows Systems Administration.
