*Position: **IT Project Manager * *Location: Boston, MA* *Duration: **12+ month contract * *phone interview, F2F or skype* *Experience Requirements:* · PMP certification or 6-10 years of Project Management experience · Pharmaceutical experience desirable · Experience with multiple PPM tools/solutions is a strong plus · Must be familiar with the use of MS SharePoint · Must be proficient with MS Project · Must understand and have worked in an IT environment · Must be able to work independently · Must have demonstrated ability to resolve issues · Must have demonstrated ability to provide transparent communication and status *Pharmaceutical experience is a plus. * *Overall responsibilities for the project manager are as follows:* - Develop and maintain detailed project plan which identifies milestones and dependencies - Develop and manage project scope, schedule, cost and quality in an ongoing basis - Development of the project process and principles through the Project Charter - Promote common understanding of project timelines, milestones and reporting in order to ensure stakeholder and project team member alignment - Develop, maintain and monitor resource, communication and change management plans - Manage and report project financials - Lead identification, mitigation, resolution and reporting of project risks & issues, and work with relevant colleagues to identify solutions.
