The position will design/recommend optimal networks and interfaces for an organization and will work closely with internal and external IT professionals and projects. This solution architect position provides an opportunity to design an enterprise-wide IT operations environment that provides a consistent and sustainable platform for the migration of disparate Oracle Primavera deployments in various Upstream organizations. The position will design/recommend optimal networks and interfaces for an organization and will work closely with internal and external IT professionals and projects. Position Details : Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: Demonstrated ability to work independently but liaise effectively with diverse customer groups, project teams and management and seek to inspire superior behaviors and performance within/between teams(s) Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal Must be a team player and able to work with and through others Leverages working knowledge of the following: Oracle and SQL Server RDBMS, Microsoft Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server (TFS), Web Services, Definition of service interfaces specifications and associated governance Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline A minimum of 8 years’ experience as a IT Solution Architect Experience with large-scale enterprise-wide project deployments IT operations experience Experience with IT Change Management practices – prior experience in the standardization of IT support infrastructure Preferred Qualifications: Oracle Primavera exposure – involvement in previous deployments and/or use Relocation Options: Relocation may be considered within Chevron parameters.*LI-SA1 International Considerations: Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
