Role: QA Consultant with GIS and Informatica Location: Columbus OH Length: 6 Months + Interview Type: Phone + Face to Face Responsible for the design, development, execution and maintenance of test cases for newly developed or redesigned system interfaces and reports. The position requires working on a small team of testers as well as working independently on smaller assignments. Frequent interactions with the business analyst and development teams is required throughout the software development life cycle to ensure the code delivered meets the business requirements Qualifications: • At least 5 years of experience working within Quality Assurance with an emphasis in ETL and Report testing. • Strong knowledge and experience in generating complex SQL queries • Working experience with Oracle/Teradata/SQL Server RDBMS • Knowledge of data modeling • Experience working with GIS (Gentran Integration Suite) and Informatica. This is a must have. • Extensive data warehousing knowledge • Experience working with UNIX/Linux OS • Unix file transfer knowledge • Proven analytical skills • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities • Team player with ability to work in a fast paced environment • Experience with Quality Center • Knowledge and understanding of retail industry is a plus (not necessary) • B.S.
