Job Title : Build Release Engineer Location : Madison, WI Duration : 12 Months Job Description: 3 years database experience with Oracle 3 years other data base experience (SQL or GreenPlum preferred) 3 years Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) experience with Informatica Power Center and Exchange experience 3 years with Batch scheduling / processing experience with Autosys (CA7 experience a plus) 3 years experience with Reporting tools (i.e. BO, SAS) 3 years experience with Data Modeling (i.e. ER Studio) Responsibilities : Responsible for coordinating the BI weekly pre prod maintenance release window and tasks which will be planned, coordinated, and executed similar to normal application releases now. Release Coordinators (RCs) are responsible for coordinating implementation activities that bring new software release/patch into integration and production environments. RCs ensure that the integrity of pre-prod and prod environments are protected and the correct components are released by owning deployment schedules for all environments. As part of the release cycle, RCs are the central knowledge point of all integrations within any given release. RCs focus on coordinating integrated pieces from product deliverables that must come together to work as an integrated release package, solution, or primary release. RCs coordinate deployment milestones ensuring those milestones are planned, managed, and come together in a timely manner.RCs group releases together based on efficiency, integrations, and compatibility as they are promoted through lower environments.
