" This customer prefers candidates that come from a more commercial background than government The Senior Quality Assurance/Testing resource for HTML5 will work under the direction of the project manager of client's Editorial Systems Group. They will engage daily with a cross-functional web development project team and define the strategy and direction of the day-to-day functions of the QA team members. Additionally, they will participate in the requirements gathering activities of various related and sub-projects. Responsibilities: - Expected to quickly learn the functionality of the client Editorial Systems and related web properties inside and out becoming a SME. - Communicate overall status on a weekly to daily basis to team members and management. - Lead test scrum meetings with internal resources and external resources. - Manage testing related activities of internal project team members. - Overall responsibility for ensuring the test team: o Writes test cases based on web development requirements. o Write automated scripts in Selenium o Tracks and reports on defect and issues identified during testing activities. - Develop and document a QA strategy for related project efforts. Experience: - Previous experience working on web development testing projects required. - Experience in agile methodology preferred. - Some development experience in JavaScript - Experience with Selenium is a must have - Experience testing various mobile devices and web browsers - HTML 5 experience is a very nice to have - Experience with Sauce Labs is ideal, but not required - Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors. - Proficient in test case development, documentation and test activities tracking/reporting. - Familiarity with JIRA is a plus. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP or Oracle Financials" group.
