*J2EE Senior / Expert Developers (**3 resources needed**)* *Start* – ASAP *Duration* – 6 months with potential for renewal based on performance (potential long term contract) *Ecommerce Technical Lead/Expert J2EE Developer* This position is for an Ecommerce Technical Lead or Expert level J2EE developer to support and implement Client software design, development, and testing. Must have full SDLC expertise. *Responsibilities* Deliver major capability improvements to client across full site & mobile, in a technical leadership role. Provide full ownership of technical deliverables for multiple projects. You will understand the big picture & makes design decisions to align with it. You will also own the responsibility of the overall technical deliverables in a sprint or iteration outcome. You will accurately report the status with alarms, explanations and solutions. The team includes a dedicated iteration manager. You will be business facing. You will be partnering with them to deliver business driven projects & successfully influence the business, IT domain teams with requirements, technology use & design decisions. You will act as a communication proxy for your team and will frequently be explaining technical decisions in business terms. You will also be the Interface between development team and management in general. You will raise the talent level within the team - through mentoring developers in Java, JEE & drive the team towards on target high quality deliverables You will establish your credibility through the quality of your work & through strong hand on coding expertise, remove the technical impediments for the team. You will also be contributing to the coding best practices & participate in code reviews and provide timely feedback. Desired Skills & Experience - Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, - excellent communication & interpersonal skills, business facing personality, - well versed in the Java/JEE technology stack. - Hands on Web Application Development would be important, - Retail experience would help and ATG, Endeca experience would be a huge plus.
