*Rate: $35/hr on C2C only * *Must have 6+ years of Cobol Coding Experience, 6+ years experience with Easytrieve, VSAM file processing, CICS online screen coding/maintenance. * Responsibilities: Researches, designs, develops, configures, integrates, tests and maintains existing and new business applications and/or information systems solutions including VSAM file processing through integration of technical and business requirements. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis of business requirements, coding of modifications or new program, creation of documentation, testing and maintenance of applications, infrastructure. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems/projects where analysis of situations or data requires and in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Typically a technical Bachelor degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years of related experience or a Master degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience. 6 or more years of experience writing code (COBOL, JCL, Endevor, Easytrieve) and Testing tools Experience of multiple full release cycles.
