*Location: NYC* *Rate: Open * *DURATION: 6 to 9 months but Extendable* ****MUST HAVE FRONT END DEVLOPMENT EXPERIENCE***** *Job Description:* Client Trading Technology (CTT) provides Electronic Trading Solutions for the firm's institutional clients. The solutions include PrimeTrade, our multi-asset class electronic trading platform, FIX Protocol-based trading, PrimeClear and a custom API. These solutions are used by both internal and external clients to trade Stocks, Listed Derivatives, Foreign Exchange, ETFs, Equity Options, Cash Bonds and Repos. The team has presence across the globe (including New York, London, Raleigh, Singapore, Tokyo and Sydney) and provides 24x6 coverage on development, support and QA functions. · Architect, design and develop mission critical electronic trading applications · Work with developers within and outside the region to drive the execution of projects · Contribute to architecture discussions as a part of the architecture forum · Participate in design and code reviews for internal and external teams, as necessary · Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers in the team · Adhere to and help to refine the CS standards on development and architecture best practices for the team as a whole *Qualifications Essential Skills:* · Minimum 8 years development experience · Very strong in Core Java and Swing development, with a minimum of 4 years hands-on experience. · Proven experience in system architecture · Very Strong on Unix fundamentals.
