*Title: Java Developer with Jax RSLocation: Downtown Nashville, TNDuration: 3 month contractStart Date: ASAP* *MUST:* -4-7 years of experience with Java development -Strong familiarty with REST (actually building Restful services) -Experience implementing Jax-RS using Jersey -Familiar with Unit testing (Spock or JUnit and more understanding the idea of testing) -Strong understanding of the meaning of Source Control -Excellent oral and written communication *PLUS:* -Experience with Spring -Experience with Jersey as it pertains to Groovy testing *Role:* Our client is looking for a strong Java developer to assist with new develeopment replacing legacy code. This project is all new implementation where they will be reproducing the functionalities of the before development. This candidate will use already written requirements and follow a list of documents/standards to develop. They will be developing in a Java environment using other technologies such as Jax RS, Spring, Restful Services, Junit, Spock all in a Groovy development. This position will be mostly comprised of 100% development and delegating tasks.
