*3+ years Oracle DBA administration experience on day to day activities Server provisioning on Linux environment Linux and Solaris server patching ( Monthly basis patches released on Linux side they follow that cycle) Add space to file systems (VERITAS knowledge is essential)* Experience with large databases with high transaction volume in a RAC configuration Expertise in data migration between environments using Datapump Experience performing logical backups Experience with performing database maintenance/health check including automation Expertise with DBMS_JOB, DBMS_SCHEDULER packages and cron jobs Demonstrated knowledge of interdependencies between Oracle security and Linux security Expertise in using Stats Pack, AWR Reports Analysis and Performance Tuning. Experienced on Oracle Advanced Concepts like Parallel Execution, Using Optimizers, Flash Recovery, Advanced Compression etc. Expert in Oracle SQL Loader Extensive experience with data transfers and data sharing using flat files, database links, and web services Must be familiar with current version of Oracle 11g, Advanced SQL and PL/SQL, Application development experience in an Oracle environment, Data Modeling/Relational Database Design Experience in planning space allocation, creating and managing table spaces, partitioning strategies.
