Provides sourcing assistance for new components and products, contacts vendors on project timeline, troubleshoots production and delivery problems, develops and implements specifications for individual components and finished goods, develops specifications consistent with manufacturing capabilities and requirements. Participates in the graphic arts implementation, consults with various merchant groups on package design. Develops quality standards for suppliers and compliance with environmental requirements. In the lab, tests new materials and conducts compatibility evaluations.
