Position: MYSQL DBA Duration:1 year Location: Silver Springs, Maryland Job Summary • MySQL DBA will manage a complex enterprise-level MySQL database systems for production, development and QA. • Understand hardware, software and database configuration necessary to support application. • Monitor & manage capacity and availability of database services. • Work with QA and developers on performance tuning, query optimization and database change management. Deploy database changes. • Establish processes and mechanisms for reliable data backup/restore of very large databases. • Troubleshoot and resolve database and system related problems. • Work closely with IT and Business to prioritize tasks and implement system/database changes based on 3M-HIS IT policy.
