Statement: Involves application development, prototyping, modeling and
high level technical consulting. Perform "what-if" analysis to simulate
network stress test and survivability. Predict effects of configuration
changes, identify applications bottlenecks and opportunities to optimize
performance. Full use and application of standard principles, theories,
concepts, and techniques. Provides resolutions to an assortment of
problems. Works under normal supervision. Follows established directions.
Work is reviewed for accuracy of technical analysis and overall adequacy.
Primarily intra-organizational with occasional inter-organizational and
external customer contacts on routine matters. College Degree or equivalent
experience; work towards advanced studies/degree preferred. Typically has 2
- 4 years related experience.

-2-4 years of experience in Design and Development of web
applications using the Java EE, JSP, XML, Weblogic 10, AJAX
-Experience in Object Oriented Analysis and Design using
Java and UML
-Extensive use of Eclipse( commonly used plug-ins and debug
techniques)
-Understanding of JEE patterns and ability to use commonly
used on in real time situations
-Experience in using Java presentation frameworks ¿ STRUTS
or similar frameworks, and JQuery
-Integration experience using Web Services and EJB
preferably on Web logic platform
-Hands-on experience with Build and Deployment tools and
languages - ANT and Shell script
-Good knowledge of database concepts with working knowledge
on SQL and Stored Procedures
-Innovative in providing solutions, likes to take on
challenges with calculated risk.
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or
equivalent working experience

· Develop and Support a Java Swing Trading Application which
communicates with excel on real-time basis.
· Profile the application under heavy load to be able to identify
memory, CPU or threading issues and fix them
· Design and implement new features
· Be able to contribute to the designs of new requirements and
re-architecting efforts of the current code base.
· Be able to independently handle project activities related to
builds and deployments.
· Work with business analysts or product management in
understanding new requirements.
· Follow company software development processes and standards;
· Study new technology and remain technically current.

· 5+ years experience in Java development and support;
· Strong knowledge of Core Java, Java Swing, Java RMI, Java
Threading Model, XML, Ant and Maven
· Good Working Knowledge of Java Concurrency libraries
· Should have hands on experience working on Java 1.5+.
· Good understanding of performance aspects related to core Java
and Swing with hands on experience on some Java Performance profiling tools
like YourKit, JProfiler etc..
· Hand on experience on Java Application deployment tools like Java
WebStart.
· Strong understanding of http protocol.
· Should have some hands on experience with Java and Excel
interaction.
· Should be well versed with writing unit test cases using JUnit
and JMock
· Must possess good verbal and written communication skills;
· Good working knowledge of software testing, building high quality
software, and experience with software testing tools, regression testing etc
