MA* *Long – Term* *Mid-level Web Developer Expertise in:* • php • mysql • javascript • jQuery • HTML 5 • CSS 3 • Responsive CSS frameworks • Expression Engine and CodeIgniter experience is a huge plus! • Ability to work independently with direction from Department Head/Project lead • Some work will be in teams, with some independent task work. • Many projects are cross department. • Ability to take Photoshop mockups and turn into html/css -> Expression Engine templates • We have a ticketing system for departmental task work intake, assigned by department head. • We also work out of a project management system called Active Collab (handles the tickets as well). Tasks vary from simple changes to building out new sections in the cms along with redesigning sections of the site. • We have lots of daily tasks/requests that come in via tickets. • Also several one off projects from the Main website. *Upcoming projects:* • 50th Anniversary website • Full site redesign along with CMS upgrade and re architecture • Document retention system (custom application) • UMB Mobile Application phase II with/Modo Labs • Community Partnerships system (custom application) 1. Not looking for a LAMP server engineer. Most of our servers are rented and managed offsite. 2. Knowledge of working in LAMP stack environment a bonus. 3. I don't consider this a Jr position. 2-5 yrs experience. More is OK. 4. Candidates straight out of school will not be considered. 5. References are required.
