RESPONSIBILITIES: Websphere/Java Developer opening with focus on Portal and JSF. Specialized experience for the position: The chosen candidate will assist our client in the development of messaging solutions for the Federal Judiciary. Proficient in Java/J2EE development, including WebSphere Portlet development, Java Server Faces (JSF, 2.0 preferred), Servlet development (familiar with Rational Application Developer 8.x); Web Services development (Eclipse 3.x) utilizing Java on a JBOSS infrastructure; Functional Responsibility: Looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills for a team that may operate out of various locations. Proactive member of the development team that will be in contact with team members daily (via phone, email, SameTime, etc). Provides technical and administrative direction for tasks, including review of work products for correctness, compliance with industry accepted standards, FTS standards, and user standards. Required Education/Experience: Bachelors degree and eight (8) years of progressive IT experience including at least five projects in technical areas include in SOW. At least one project must have occurred within the past (3) years.
