*Please go through the requirement below, if you have any consultants please forward them to din...@saxonglobal.com <din...@saxonglobal.com> .* *need local candidates only who can go for a face to face interview.* *Position:-- Data Modeler * *Location:-- Fort Worth , TX* *Duration :-- 6+ Months* *Position Title:* Logical Data Modeler on application development projects in an OLTP environment RESPONSIBILITIES: • Translate business and data requirements into Logical data models in support of Enterprise Data Models, OLTP, Operational Data Structures and Analytical systems. • Understand database performance factors and trends pertaining to very large database design and collaborate with DBAs to implement mitigating physical modeling solutions. • Perform source data analysis, data discovery and data profiling. • Provide data structures optimized for information entry and retrieval. • Effectively communicate data design to other members of the team to ensure proper implementation and utilization of the data structures. • Support development team during design process design and during performance tuning. • Participate in both business IT planning and in the development management of project plans. • Lead design of Logical and Physical Models • Support ongoing data modeling efforts for Development and Production environments • Contribute to development of processes and guidelines for Data Modeling Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or equivalent • 4-8 years of experience in design and deployment of logical and physical structures • 2 years of Experience with Erwin data modeling tools • 2 years of Experience with development and deployments on Oracle or MSSQL platform • Experience with large, high volume databases is preferred. • Experience performing data profiling • Experience as an Oracle DBA is desired, but not required • Experience with Agile SDLC is preferred. • Ability to work successfully with technical and non-technical groups, and manage multiple tasks at a time • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills • Strong technical writing skills • Experience to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks • In-depth understanding of both Relational and Domain Modeling techniques. --- Thanks!
