* * *Location: **Bloomington**, MN*** *Start Date: **Immediate* *Duration: Contract to Hire * *No. Of Positions: 1* * * *Position Description:* * This position is responsible for conducting ETL development and deployment * Engage in logical & physical design of database, table creation, script creation, views, procedures, packages and other database objects * Employ the best database development knowledge to address performance, scalability and efficiency issues within a large data warehouse structure. * Provide strong analytical and problem solving skills. * Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced changing environment. * Ability to take high-level direction, multi-task and own assigned deliverables from beginning to end * Deliver quality work on-schedule and on-budget to the customer * Organized, self-motivated, excellent written and verbal communications skills at the business and technical level * Strong work ethic, commitment and team work * * *Experience and Qualifications:* * Datastage PX 7.5 / 8 * SQL / TSQL * Creation of stored procedures and triggers * Performance turning TSQL with data volumes exceeding 50 million rows * Cube design / multi dimensional modeling * Perl / UNIX shell scripting * Working with scheduling tools like Autosys or TWS * 5 years overall development experience required * Experience working with offshore technical resources *Following experience is preferred:* * Table modeling using a tool like ERWIN or Power Designer * Any BI product like SSAS, Business Objects, Hyperion * Insurance industry experience preferred * Flexible / adaptable to new technology -- * Thanks and Regards, Vinaya Kumar Sr. Resourcing Specialist Systel Inc.
