As a member of the Software Quality Team in a highly respected global organization you will help to assure high product standards for software developed for both strategic in-house systems as well as software products that carry our brand to external customers. . 5 years experience programming in VB, JAVA, HTML, PYTHON, Active Script 3.0, C++ . 7 years demonstrated success in using tools such as HP Mercury Quick Test Pro and Load Runner. . Demonstrated basic understanding of relational databases, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, application design, solution development, and implementation of small projects or minor components or medium-to-large projects .. 5 years experience or more in a rapid development environment . Basic knowledge of the software development life cycle, practices, and methodology . 4 years experience with RIA technologies: Flash, Adobe Flex & Air . Basic understanding of data, process, quality assurance and business modeling . Working knowledge of MS Office products . Basic understanding of network systems hardware and software practice and technology. Exposure to platforms such as UNIX, Windows, or other operating systems Qualifications 1 - The right candidate will have solid QA and Development background with comprehensive knowledge of various software development lifecycles and methodologies. Must have a good understanding of GUI standards and RIA Technologies. Candidates with just basic web application testing will not be considered. This individual will be responsible for assisting with the development and maintenance of software Manual and Automation Test Design Specifications and Test Cases. Must have experience in testing RIA applications with applied multi-user test scenario knowledge. Execute manual and automated test scripts, record and track software discrepancies. Responsibilities also include performing informal and formal testing activities including regression testing. Qualifications/Necessary Skills: . Combination of 5+ years in Software Quality Assurance and Software Development .. QA experience with multimedia applications including video and audio o Streaming Video o Video on demand . Knowledge of the SDLC and QA lifecycle . Strong verbal and written communication skills . Experience writing and modifying test plans . Experience writing and modifying test summary reports .
