Please go through requirement and if you have good match send me profile ASAP. * Please Send at ka...@askitc.com Only * *Requirement:* *Position: ** BA&BI with MicroStrategy skills* *Location: **Miami**, FL* *Duration: 6-9 Months Contract to Hire.* *Rate: DOE* * * *******************Send Citizen/GC.EAD Only************ * * *Job Description: * * * This person will be responsible for: Ø Meeting with business users to understand needs and requests, Ø Gathering and documenting business and user requirements including prototyping, Ø Designing and developing MicroStrategy reports, scorecards and dashboards Ø Interface with project staff, including DBAs, ETL Developers, and Business Analysts Ø Interface with end users from C level thru normal staff, Ø Performing quality testing prior to UAT, and Ø Reporting progress throughout the project life cycle. * * *Candidate Must have:* Ø Have experience in working on Enterprise Data Warehouse projects while understanding actively participating on all project phases.** Ø Create and maintain MicroStrategy projects including its configuration, schema and application objects like sophisticated reports using advanced filters such as relationship, metric-to-metric, joint element list filters, advanced metrics, custom groups, consolidations, advanced prompts, customer drill maps, etc.** Ø Assist the BI Architect to Implement complex hierarchies, implement role attributes and versioning, design the schema for optimal performance, use logical views to solve data modeling and schema design issues, and optimize query performance using both, database and MicroStrategy functionality.** Ø Developed different scorecards and dashboards using MicroStrategy best practices as recommended by visual design experts, using selectors, widgets, multi-panels, etc.** Ø Maintain enterprise standards by studying related system requirements and solutions, plan for data security and control, and plan for disaster recovery** * * *Required Technical Skills:* Ø SQL ANSI, DBMS Applications/Vendors – MS SQL 2005, 2008, SSIS (Integration Services), SSRS (Reporting Services), SSAS (Analysis Services). Knowledge of the following is a plus: WhereScape RED, Oracle, IBM/DB2, Netezza, Teradata. *Ø *BI – MicroStrategy 8 / 9: Desktop, Web Reporting*.*** Ø BA – Skills to gather, document and implement reporting requirements to meet departmental needs * * *Required Non-Technical Skills:* Ø Strong oral and written communication skills. Ø Self-starting initiative.
