Responsible for one or more technical aspects of development. · Must understand the client server model and be able to develop interconnect programs that are distributed efficiently across different locations. · Responsibilities include coding, testing, modifying, debugging, enhanced or purchased systems based on the business requirements, technical specifications and standards. · Solid understanding of software development life cycle along with 3-tiered application architecture. Understanding of Object-Oriented (OO) languages and tools. .net Biztalk, Visual Basic Required Skills: · 5-7 years related experience including at least *3-4 years in the development and maintenance* of applications · Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience *and 5+ years of experience in the application development and/or maintenance.* · Experience in application development using technologies like *Java/J2EE, JMS, JSP, Unix, Shell Scripting, Sybase, & other distributed technologies * · Experience in small enhancements, SOX remediation, level 3 production support, break fix, data corrections, research, root cause analysis and infrastructure / technology upgrades. · Ensure that processes follow technical standards, documentation and implementation procedures. · Ability to quickly grasp technical details and manage complex technical integrations.
