Title: Technical Project Manager posted on 2014-08-07 14:59:33 Job Description:Position: Technical Manager Location: Lynchburg, VA (First 2-3 months the location would be Rochester, NY) Duration: Long Term Contract Must skills: The candidate will be responsible for Design and development of software application - Team Management and should have strong leadership role that can communicate well and drive team to success - Good understanding of the process and methodology - Involve in Weekly meetings - Program Team meeting, Leadership team meeting, Development team meeting, Project Management meeting, Meeting with Testing team on the build status - Have full control on prioritizing the Trouble Reports and support offshore team and the program management - Should have able to design or develop any prototype - Should have good understanding on the product requirements - Should able to code read and resolve critical problems that are reported in the field. - Sustaining of the product which includes bug fixing, address EOL issues, debugging of the field TRs, provide solutions - Reviewing deliverables and part of the approval list before releasing the bug fix to the field - Creation of High level document and low level documents. - Hands on experience in Version Management - Good communication skills and team player. Specific: - Hands on experience in design and developing Software components using C++ and VB6. - Hands on experience in Visual studio editor. - Hands on experience in developing MFC and Multithreading application. - Hands on experience in developing codes for TCP/IP protocols - Knowledge in radio communication systems - Good working knowledge in VC6, Direct X, UDP, and Win API. Person needs to take KT from location Rochester for 3 months or lesser and after that working location will be Lynchburg VA.
