Job Title: Oracle Application DBA Location: St Louis, MO Durations: 12+ Months Contract Description: BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience with IT implementation experience 3+ years of demonstrated strong SQL development and tuning. Must have experience with recent versions of Oracle Server, i.e. 10g, 11g. Experience with large databases (over 20 terabytes) Ability to engage with business/scientific users to understand data sources, gaps in quality processes and integration needs. Experience with at least 1 contemporary general purpose programming language, i.e. Java, C++, PL/SQL, Perl. PL/SQL Development skills Microsoft Excel formulas and pivot tables. Data analysis and troubleshooting skills. Experience using Oracle’s Explain Plan and understanding the optimizer’s output. Experience using Toad or SQL Developer.
