Rate is $58/hr.* Job Description The Database Administrator will provide database administrative support for our clients environments including; software development, QA, client test, and our critical high availability production environment and DR Data Centers. Software installation and patching Database creation and configuration Recommends solutions by defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, database security, data back-up, and recovery specifications. Maintain database performance by calculating optimum values for database parameters; implementing new releases; completing maintenance requirements; evaluating computer operating systems andhardware products. Provide 3rd level support for our clients critical production environments Participate in root cause analysis for database issues Supports database functions by designing and coding utilities.
