Job Description:*
The Boston client, is seeking an experienced individual with a minimum of 5
years experience as a PeopleSoft Performance Testing Lead. Additionally,
the individual must have experience load testing PeopleSoft utilizing IBM?s
Rational Performance Tester. The role of the consultant will be to lead the
load testing effort for HR/CMS PeopleSoft v9.0 project.
Individuals should possess expert level experience performing load
testing for PeopleSoft with large self-service user population. The
initial duration of this contact assignment is for a 6 month period.
*POSITION OVERVIEW:*
· Lead the team through a thorough load test of the PeopleSoft application
· Design and execute tests which will exercise all layers of the
architecture
· Design and execute tests to ensure the architecture will support the
anticipated self-service load in addition to handling the core user load
· Provide the project team with best practices for load testing PeopleSoft
· Recommend changes to the architecture as needed
· Recommend and modify configurations on each layer of the architecture as
needed
· Provide knowledge transfer to the testing team
· Document the tests, results and corrective actions
*REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:*
(5 years mandatory minimum experience):
· Experience Load Testing PeopleSoft products
· Experience utilizing IBM?s Rational Performance Tester in a PeopleSoft
environment
· Experience performing load tests in an Oracle UNIX environment
· PeopleSoft Administrator experience on all layers of the PeopleSoft
architecture
· Experience recommending architecture changes to support a large
self-service user population
· Ability to interact with all management levels of State government
· Experience with large organizations (50,000+ employee populations)
· Proven verbal and written communication skills
· Experience leading internal focus groups for gathering requirements
