*Title: VB Programmer* *Location: Tinton Falls or Westbury NY* *Contract: 6 months* Please find below the job description – We need a VB programmer with healthcare knowledge in the areas highlighted below *Job Description:* - Implement hospital, ancillary, provider fee and client benefit contract coding into claims management system. - Handle day to day claim system issues and work them through resolution - Work with claim system vendor to implement new features and fixes - Develop and document test scenarios for applications - Oversee and manage tasks - Maintain quality goals for contracts - Automate or improve processes using available technology. *Essential Qualifications:* - Must possess the ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision, have exceptional attention to detail and perform consistent work product validation/QA - Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders - Proven programming knowledge (any language) and Understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). - Healthcare expertise including: Industry terminology/concepts including: ICD9, CPT, DRG, Revenue codes, Benefits, Accumulators, Tiered network setup, Understanding of pricing and claim adjudication, COB pricing including Medicare rules, R&C pricing and rules, EDI knowledge - SQL - Excel - Strong analytical skills Best Regards *Venkat* Aclat Inc.
