Job Title: Core Software Engineer - Java Developer Location: Boston, MA Contract Duration: 6+ months Experience Required: 5-6 Yrs. Rate : 50$/Hr. On C2C. Responsibilities:- . Interact with Systems Analysts and Investment Research professionals at all levels of the organization as needed. . Proactively identify opportunities for new/improved systems to improve the investment research process. . Perform gap analysis between investment research processes and existing systems . Establish effective processes for productive partnership with offshore teams. Min Requirements: . Minimum of five years of hands-on design and development experience in commercial environments. . Experience developing Web applications using JSP, HTML5, AJAX, XML, JSON, Struts/Spring MVC framework, Web Services and other relevant open source technologies. . Experience developing J2EE applications using JDBC, JNDI, JMS and other related technologies like Swing, RCP is a strong plus. . Intermediate level expertise with SQL and Excel VBA. . Experience with, and demonstrated understanding of agile software development and testing methodologies. . Business domain understanding of Fixed Income and Credit markets is a definite plus. Experience in application development using mobile technologies is a distinct advantage but not a pre-requisite for the role.
