Siebel Developer Duration: 1 year Location: White Plains, NY Rate: Market * Interview: Phone+ F2F* POSITION SUMMARY: Person in this role will be responsible to develop and maintain a data conversion process that transforms data available in Oracle database (ETL), upload it in EIM tables and execute EIM jobs to load data in Siebel. A very robust and automated process is needed to load data for multiple properties one at a time in a given time frame. Therefore, a good understanding of how to optimize the process for overall performance is essential and will require strong SQL tuning skills, understanding of Siebel data model and EIM tables. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Write ETL code for data transformation in Oracle database • Analyze and optimize ETL script for optimal performance • Write code to upload data into EIM tables. Must have expert level understanding for Siebel entities like Account, Contacts, Opportunity, Quote, Order and Activities, etc. • Identify the relevant EIM tables for above mentioned entities • Must have good understanding to troubleshoot EIM issues and provide quick resolution • Develop a process to run data transformation and data upload tasks that can be used by non-technical migration team. • Coordinate and provide support to data migration team SKILLS REQUIRED • Strong EIM skills • Expert level SQL and PL/SQL knowledge • Good understanding of working with different database tools e.g. Toad, SQLPlus, etc. • Working experience on UNIX environments is required • Some level of Java and Shell scripting knowledge is desired • Informatica and knowledge of other technologies for process automation is a plus • Knowledge of Golden Gate and Database features like flashback is a plus Experience • 5+ years of EIM experience • 5+ years of experience working on SQL and Oracle database • Must have experience with large size data migration projects • Working experience of Siebel version 7 and above QUALIFICATION Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or other relevant education of same level.
