Kindly share your resume on ne...@tresourceinc.com for below position. *Position: Senior SharePoint Developer* *DURATION: 24 + MONTHS * *LOCATION: Long Island City, NY * *Responsibilities:* The SharePoint Senior Developer will be responsible for design and development of software solutions based on Microsoft SharePoint, JQuery, WCF, REST Data Services and .Net Framework. *Major responsibilities include:* Understanding client requirements by participating in workshops and regular client meetings. Assess Technical Feasibility and prepare SharePoint 2013 Out-Of-Box features vs. Custom Development matrix. Scoping and estimation of work effort for each project. Create Technical Design, and Implementation Plan for the SharePoint solutions. Work with other technical resources on the Solution build. Participate in Quality Assurance (UAT) process and resolve issues as they arise. Support development of Microsoft SharePoint 2013, JQuery, and .NET framework based business applications. *Skills / Experience required:* 8+ years experience in Design and Development of web applications based on Microsoft SharePoint, JQuery, JavaScript, REST Data Services, WCF, Search and Business Connectivity Services (BCS). 1+ year experience in Design and development of solutions based on Microsoft SharePoint 2013 is mandatory. Strong SharePoint Designer 2013 skills (especially creating External Content Types) Strong JQuery knowledge with .NET programming skills. SharePoint 2013 Object Model Programming (ability to write custom event handlers, create lists / content types / alerts via code, create features, understand SharePoint Client Object Model etc.) and REST API. Strong responsive design experience with SharePoint master pages and pages layouts - branding SharePoint sites. Customize workflow task and process behaviours through the use of standard SharePoint 2013 workflows. Strong ability to create custom SharePoint 2013 workflows using Visual studio. Strong SQL code development experience (database design, stored procedures, triggers etc.) Experience designing and developing solutions on Microsoft SQL Server 2012 (Reporting Services, Analysis Services, Integration Services) Good understanding of software design patterns (Singleton, Factory Method, and Builder etc.) Strong knowledge in UML (sequence, class, component, activity and deployment diagrams) Conduct requirements gathering sessions with working groups and individuals to capture business requirements for site changes and new requests Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with excellent verbal and written skills * Preferred* The applicant must have experience in development of large and complex SharePoint applications. The applications must be similar in size and scope to the types of application development designed by a large government entity such as the New York City Department of Education. Experience with OpenXML Business Knowledge - Demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills using knowledge, experience and understanding of Public sector in the United States Microsoft MVP Certification and Microsoft Certified Solution Developers (MCSDs) will be a MAJOR plus. Experience with data integration with external systems is a MAJOR plus Experience with SharePoint content migration with Metalogix content matrix is desirable. Experience with performance point services, Power View/PowerPivot is desirable Experience with Angular.js in SharePoint is a plus.
