*Position:* Sharepoint Developer with BA Exp. *Location:* Long Island City *Duration:* 6+ Months *Must Have Skills:* - At least 5 years of experience as a Sharepoint 2007 / 2010 Business Analyst is a must. - At least 2 full lifecycle implementations of ECM & Portal, preferably in Sharepoint *Description:* - Responsible for consulting, requirement analysis and specification, process modeling, content analysis, defining use cases and scenarios, defining business solutions, testing, proof of concept. - Participate in creation of solution frameworks, methodologies, approach papers, pre sales, research, tasks for practice development - Metadata frameworks, Controlled Vocabularies, Taxonomy, Search - Good communication, documentation and presentation skills - Good in business + process + content analysis and problem solving - Client facing, ability to engage with business stakeholders, conduct user workshops and manage client expectations - Translate business issues into IT solutions - Experience of working in Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies in Onsite and offshore models. - Sound functional knowledge of the Portals & ECM space - Experience of Sharepoint 2007 portal is a must and Sharepoint 2010 is desirable. - Good concepts in the area of collaboration & social networking - Metadata frameworks, Controlled Vocabularies, Taxonomy, Search - Knowledge of UML, use case development, business process modeling - Knowledge of Insurance/Banking/Life Sciences domain business processes is a plus - Knowledge of other content management and portals products would be added advantage - Knowledge of industry standards and frameworks such as Dublin Core, SKOS, XML, XSL, TOGAF is a plus *Qualifications:* A bachelors degree in engineering.
